How Glide Thief Plays
Simple input, deep decisions. Here's the full shape of a run.
Controls & Movement
Four inputs, nothing else.
- Slide in any of four directions — up, down, left, right.
- Once you slide, you can't stop or slow down until you hit something.
- Hitting a wall is the only way to change direction — every slide is a commitment.
- Movement speed always outpaces a typical maze game — there's no waiting, only momentum.
Auto Combat & Skill Arsenal
There's no attack button. While you slide, your equipped skill fires automatically at nearby monsters — flying blades, fireballs, lightning, boomerangs, ice shards, and more. You only manage the route.
Attack
- Fire Trail
- Chain Lightning
- Thrown Blades
- Frost Beam
- Boomerang
Survival
- Shield
- Coin Magnet
- Health Regen
- Damage Reduction
Glide
- Wall Bounce
- Double Slide
- Emergency Stop
- Wall Phase
- Ice Phase
- Dash Burst
Skill Synergies
Fire Trail × Dash Burst
A faster dash leaves a longer burning lane behind you.
Frost Beam × Boomerang
A frozen enemy shatters into an ice explosion when the boomerang connects.
Roguelite Build System
Skill choices aren't a one-time draft — they happen room by room.
- Every reward room offers a three-way skill choice.
- A typical run passes through 4-6 rooms, so a single run holds 3-5 build decisions.
- All skills change how you play — there's no '+3% damage' filler.
- Discover synergy pairs between skills for outsized payoffs, and chase a new combination every run.
